So.. I've always been comfortable talking about sex, and other activities. Been there for my friends, male or female, when they've needed me as a resorce or for some one to confide in. But when it comes to guys that I'm dating, am interested in, ect any mention of sex or past partners, automatically leads them into a state of mind thats "now i can start moving in."

Even when the conversation is started off with "I don't want to have sex" they still seem to get this idea in their head that I do and will. Is there any way to keep guys from thinking this, or should i just start avoiding the topic all together?

and on top of that I think giving up on dating all together is just about the thing to do. Until my John Cusack character (either from High FIdelity or Must Love Dogs) comes along.
